Mylar� D

Mylar® D, or Polyethyylene Terephthalate (PET), is a strong, heat resistant, and electrically insulating film which is treated on both sides to give it outstanding slip and handling qualities. This clear, brilliant material is ideal for metallising and applications that require superior optical properties. It is also approved by the US Library of Congress for archiving and conservation. Mylar® film is available in two standard types, Mylar® A and Mylar® D.
