Kapton® (by DuPont™) is a polyimide film which offers a unique combination of electrical, thermal, chemical and mechanical properties over a wide temperature range. It can function at 428°F to 464°F for continuous service, and intermittent at 752°F. Kapton® can operate at temperatures as low as -452°F. It excels as an insulator and exhibits high-temperature resistance. Kapton® does not melt or burn as it has the highest UL-94 flammability rating: V-0. Kapton® Film is available in thicknesses from 0.0003" up to 0.005". All Seals takes pride in its ability to consistently produce precision Kapton® components guaranteed to meet your specifications and function perfectly within your application.
